Christmas season

Hello my bbf (best bloggie friends).  I hope you are feeling well and ready for the Christmas season ahead.  Before I show my lastest crafty designs I just wanted to pause for a second and remember that Christmas is not about gifts or the designs, it's about the world receiving a Savior.  I don't consider this to be a religious blog, but sometimes I need to get a little personal, now and then.  I don't know about you but a Savior is a great and wonderful gift to me.  Being forgiven of my sins, my flaws, my anxieties, concerns goes beyond words.  Plus knowing that there is a plan and a purpose for everything is breathtaking to me sometimes.  2tim 1:9/10  who has saved us and called us to a holy life not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.  This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.   Now that's a gift.  I can do no better.

Okay so on to decor and crafts!

This weekend I was feeling inspired to make some gift tags.  These are 3 x 5 inches each, so quite big and each has a jute ribbon.  I love the patterns.  Once again a shameless plug of my etsy shop

This week I am really going to try and reupholster my cowboy chair, so I will be doing tutorials on this, to show the process.  My mom and her new husband are coming for Christmas and I don't have enough seats for everyone in the family room.  So come back this week and see how I try and transform this into something fun and useful.

Hint:  There maybe some faux cowhide involved!
